Miss Universe 2013 Early Favorites

The Candidates are expected to step on Russia this October 24 and join the Grand Dinner Celebration for the official opening of Miss Universe 2013 in the evening of October 25th.  Among the 85 candidates, some are stand outs while others are silent horses. The competition is about to start and we are about to find out if who among them are really worth to become a part of Miss Universe 2013 Semifinalists. The first cut will be announced on the coronation night and will be automatically followed with the main segments; swimsuit, evening gown and the final question. Here is my personal Prediction for Miss Universe 2013 title:

Top 15 starting with: (In random order)

Panama- Carolina Brid will take it all this year. Panama is another beauty to watch out. She has the experiences in pageantry and I can see another catwalk diva in Carolina’s features.

USA- Erin Brady will make it. No doubt. As her predecessor make it last year, Erin is determined for sure to maintain the stake of their country.

Japan- Yukimi Matsuo is making her path towards Miss Universe crown. I think Japan can make it this year because of the attitude of Yukimi. She knows where to strike and when to grab the spotlight. If chances will go with her, Japan can have their next Kurara Chibana or Riyo Mori for the best.

South Africa- Marilyn Ramos is a good choice for South Africa to send. Marilyn is just enough for the crown. No excess, no less.

Bolivia- Alexia Viruez is gorgeous enough to make it in the semi-finalists. She’s one of the Latina beauties that can possibly own the crown this Nov. 9

 

Miss Universe 2013 Hosts

A little drama about who will host the Miss Universe 2013 to be held in Russia despite of the LGBT issue. The eyed host, Andy Cohen who has been the host for past two consecutive years, denied the offer and prefers not to step on Russia for security purposes. After a weeks of waiting if who will take the microphone and be the Miss Universe 2013 hosts, it was officially announced by the Miss Universe Organization spearheaded by Donald Trump and Paula Shugart that Mel B and Thomas Roberts will take the role of presenters for the 62nd edition of MissUniverse. Jeannie Mai and Janine Tugonon will also take their roles as presenters of behind-the-scenes.

Melanie Brown or commonly known as Mel B of the Spice Girls is set to become the lead presenter of Miss Universe 2013. Mel B is well-known Artist, Singer, performer and a TV personality. She made her historical name in the award winning all female group Spice Girls. Melanie was recently seen in the eight season of America’s Got Talent as one of the judges. She was also the presenter of Miss Universe 2008 which was held in Nha Trang, Vietnam. This Spanish accent ebony will join Thomas Roberts on stage as they present and announce the winners on stage.
